Controversial Penalty Kicker UAE Died

Alarming news that all lovers of football, especially the UAE. Young players who yesterday scored a controversial penalty kick reportedly died.

Still remember the player who kicked a penalty by way backheel in the UAE some time ago? Sunday (09/25/11) last night named Theyab Awana's players died from a tragic car accident that happened at Abu Dhabi.

As quoted from The World Game, The winger has just come home from the gym and when in the bridge Sheikh Zayed, his car collided with a truck. The 21-year-old player was immediately killed instantly.

Awana's brother was also injured in the accident and is now still in the hospital.

From the site posted a statement that the UAE Football Federation stated that Awana is labeled as "one of the most promising young talent" is being prepared for World Cup qualifier against South Korea.

Awana, who plays for the club Bani Yas has seven caps with the senior team and the UAE on Wednesday (21.09.11) and then just play against the Olyroos team or teams U-23 Australia at Hindmarsh Stadium, Adelaide.
