This weekend Manchester United will host a pretty tricky opponents Stoke City. Then that The Red Devils hope of recovery his senior defender Rio Ferdinand.
Ferdinand has been out since MU's 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur with a calf injury. This season is the new 32-year-old defender appeared twice in the Premier League and one party's Community Shield.
Indeed ketikhadiran Ferdinand (and also his colleague at the back, Nemanja Vidic) does not seem to have much effect on the appearance of the 'Red Devils'. After all, they are still in the top position and conceded just four goals from five matches.
Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and also Johnny Evans ably oversee the defense in front of David De Gea. But because his opponent in the last k-6 are Stoke, Fergie was a bit worried.
Although always won three matches at the Britannia Stadium since Stoke's promotion three years ago, but the victory was not always achieved with ease. For example last season, Manchester United only won 2-1 at home and away games.
"I hope Rio will be playing on Saturday," Ferguson said at the team's official website.
"When you come to Stoke, you need a bit of experience," said Ferguson on why he wanted Ferdinand recovery as soon as possible.
"Rio is already in our current team against Bolton and it adds to the experience of the team. So I hope he will be fit for next Saturday," due diligence.
Fergie expects Ferdinand deserves a quick fit because he'd lose Smalling who suffered a groin injury during a 3-1 win over Chelsea.
